Sri Lanka will host the 29th APR Jamboree coincided with the celebration of 100 years of scouting in Sri Lanka. Kwartir Region (Kwarda) NAD, Kwarda East Java and East Kalimantan Kwarda Penggalangnya plans to send Scouts to participate in the activities of the International standard.
62 registered Scouts who will represent the activities of the Scout Movement which was originally held in Dambulla, Sri Lanka on a 1 to 6 April 2012. Participating members of the Scout Movement will blend with 6000 members of the Sri Lanka Scout Association and more than 1500 participants from other countries.
"This event will provide a full program of exciting activities and fun and full of adventures to follow," said C. Batuwangala as Chief Commissioner of Sri Lanka Scout Association.
As is known, Sri Lanka is a country located in East Coast India which has beautiful scenery and quiet that in some regions there are many cultural heritages such as temples as a place of Buddhist worship is also a tourism center.
Appropriate national scouts circular No. 1018-00-A dated October 12, 2012, the cost to attend this activity amounted to Rp 11.18 million, - and specially interested in the International Service Team (IST) of Rp 10.73 million, - but unfortunately registration is closed on December 28, 2011.
The new activities are also carried out after the Asia-Pacific Risk Management Sub-Regional Workshop held on 26-30 January 2012 in Bangladesh.
